At Adrian Wright’s Karate Academy, it is our intention to bring to you the very best martial arts training we can and to help you achieve your goals by utilising your training time and our instruction in the most effective way possible. Compared to some of the other martial arts, Karate is relatively new. The style was developed in Okinawa, Japan by peasants and farmers that needed to protect themselves, so there is less philosophy involved than in some styles. However, as with all the ancient arts, we will help you develop courtesy, integrity, self-control, perseverance, and the indomitable spirit of a martial artist.
